This is an ancient pictorial and calligraphic technique from Asia that uses indan ink and tries to draw in few elements an idea, poem or landscape. I observe a place in peace, mindfully, and at the end I try to sum up the experience in a couple of a strokes. This is simply a radical way to be in the world and an effort to reach the essence of things. Here, I present some of my particular sumi-e works from different natural places I have visited. Somehow, being surrounded by nature after meditation enables me to catch the essence of the world like a haiku poet.
